Given the mo(u)rning discourse by our nation’s fancied Prime Minister, led me to believe that our politicians definitely suffer from “multi-organs failure”.

Let alone their thinking faculties, even their souls have no soul. So he wrote “The need of the hour is a dispassionate debate and inquiry into the critical changes that are required in societal attitudes.” And I wondered, what a societal ass he is to suggest a dialogue? Perhaps, these are the perils of being in a democracy?

The figment of my imagination, left a thought lingering in my head – that all the ‘notes’ She wrote to state she wanted to live, all the statements she made while battling for life at the hospital, the updates shared by attending Doctors in the ‘press meets’ were all imaginary and hoax, else, why wouldn’t any of it surface or be made public? If the gruesome act could move a nation, would transparency not demand, that the info be made public? Or perhaps, there is an element of ‘citizen privacy’ at work here? Any which ways, I diced and sliced it, to my common man’s thinking, I couldn’t rationalize the proceedings of the last 2 weeks. If it was a dark day on 16th December and I think I am living in the same continuum of darkness.

My thoughts do pay a tribute to the fighting spirit of the Young Lady. And her sacrifice shall stay in our hearts! May God Bless Her and her family!!
