As the evening of 16-April dawned, I was informed by a neighbor that they had received an airmail packet on my behalf. And lo and behold, there was this nicely stitched up cloth packed parcel.

Receiving it, was like the joys of a kid getting a new toy! Interestingly, in these days, when nobody even sends a letter, I was receiving surprise gifts from a very dear friend in Chennai-India. Noteworthy was that its packing, reminding me of the ecologically simple ways of doing things.

And to top it, if Zollamt at Frankfurt had done its job, so had the Indian Customs, with their stamps of approval. Its journey time was 14 days, posted on 2-April, as a Registered Airmail.
